The Program addresses not only the engineering aspects, but also the social issues related to transport infrastructure development.

Stream A

Facilitating national transport projects

Aus4Transport’s Stream A activities provide technical and financial support to the preparation and implementation of Pre-Feasibility Studies, Feasibility Studies and Detailed Design and Documentation. They support major transport infrastructure projects already selected as a priority by the Government of Vietnam.

Stream B

Unlocking opportunities through innovation

Aus4Transport’s Stream B activities include innovative initiatives that lead to revised policies, improved guidelines and practices and testing of new concepts. They are aimed at addressing bottlenecks in project development and financing, and often focus on social and environmental issues closely related to transport infrastructure development, such as gender, disability, social inclusion, social safeguarding and environmental protection.
