Covid-19 fourth wave: Impact and challenges for Aus4Transport

Since May this year, Vietnam has been experiencing a fourth wave of Covid-19. Aus4Transport’s office has been closed in principle for a month and a half and all the staff have been working from home. During this time, we have experienced a lot of challenges during this period, but we have still managed to progress in all our activities.

Mr. Vu Thanh Phuong, Vice Rector of the Institute for Transport Administration and Management Cadres (ITM), explains in this video how Aus4Transport , in partnership with the Ministry of Transport, is mainstreaming GESI in the Institute’s training courses addressed for MOT officials. Mr Phuong hopes the transport professionals participating in ITM’s training will become Gender Equality advocates, at work and in society.

Northern Mountains Site Visit

The Government of Australia is providing a grant of AU$ 6.6 million through the Aus4Transport Program to prepare a road detail design for the Northern Mountain Transport Connectivity Project. The project includes two routes: one connects Lai Chau to Noi Bai – Lao Cai Expressway and the other one Nghia Lo (Yen Bai province) to Noi Bai – Lao Cai Expressway.
